HURRICANE HARVEY TEMPORARY HOUSING SOLUTIONS

Atlas team members managed the installation of over 2,000 manufactured housing units in response to the devastation of Hurricane Harvey. This included site restoration, installation of temporary utilities and ensuring the units were ready for occupancy. Additionally, our team members were the first private contractor, since Hurricane Katrina, to operate a forward staging yard for the federal government.

Response activities included the development and implementation of a disaster response operation plan. Atlas assessed over 3,000 site locations, interacted with Texas DOT to ensure open roadways and subcontracted with local craftsmen who verified that housing units were ready for deployment through a check and staging yard repair system. We also managed over 600 personnel working up to 18 hours per day, seven days per week.
